“As an 8th grader at Kenmoor Middle, I excelled at football and basketball, and struggled in my classes. I was a C and D student. Sports had my full attention and that was a problem. I joined M2M for tutoring and mentoring. My mentors recognized my dedication to sports and helped me not only overcome my academic challenges, but a few behavioral challenges as well. Each mentor held me accountable. By the end of the 3rd Quarter, I had more B’s than ever before and managed to stay out of the Principal’s office the entire year. I will be attending DeMatha Catholic High School and I know I would not have achieved this without the help of my mentors at M2M.”
