What an amazing night! The Unleashing Brilliance Gala was a true celebration of community, impact, and generosity. We were thrilled to see so many supporters and sponsors come together to uplift our mission.
The evening was highlighted by breathtaking performances from the Brown Ballerinas of the Paula A. Brown Performing Arts Center and an inspiring keynote address by Joyson BaLisamore, Founder of Jay’s Watermelonade, whose story of resilience and purpose moved us all.
We were also proud to honor three incredible community leaders:
- Teach Honoree: Rhonda Simley, Principal of William Wirt Middle School, for her dedication to educational excellence and mentorship.
- Reach Honoree: Jarriel Jordan Sr., Founder of Jacob’s Ladder Youth Foundation, for his visionary leadership in uplifting youth.
- Keep Honoree: Dannielle Glaros, Former Prince George’s County Council Member, for her steadfast commitment to sustaining and empowering our communities.
