We Continue to Unleash Brilliance

What an unforgettable night! Thanks to your generosity and the collective spirit of our community, the Unleashing Brilliance Gala raised an incredible $69,000 in support of Community Youth Advance’s mission to teach, reach, and keep youth on the path to success.

This year’s celebration marked a powerful milestone — 20 years of transforming out-of-school time into opportunities for growth, leadership, and success. We proudly honored Prince George’s County Public Schools (Teach Honoree), Cassius Priestly of Truist Bank (Reach Honoree), First Baptist Church of Glenarden (Keep Honoree), and Keith Singletary, recipient of the Extra Mile Award, whose unwavering support and belief in our mission have fueled CYA’s continued impact.

A heartfelt thank-you also goes to our sponsors whose partnership made this milestone celebration possible:

Champion Sponsors – Clark Construction Group, Pepco/Exelon

Mind Builder Sponsors – Amiable Access Healthcare, Inc., All American Homecare & PRP Services, Giant Foods, Goldin Group, PNC Bank, The Puma Plan Living Trust, and WesBanco

Change Maker Sponsors – EagleBank and The Arc Prince George’s

Catalyst Sponsors – The Honorable Albert Wynn, O’Malley, Miles, Nylen, and Gilmore, National Education Association, and Prince George’s County Council Member Wanika Fisher

Because of your commitment, we are continuing to expand opportunities for youth across Prince George’s County — empowering the next generation of leaders, scholars, and changemakers.

If you didn’t have a chance to contribute or wish to continue supporting our mission, donations are still being accepted through the end of the year at givebutter.com/UnleashingBrilliance2025.

We also invite you to relive the magic of the evening by viewing our digital commemorative booklet at the link below — a celebration of 20 years of impact, partnership, and community.
